Enclave becomes a hot commodity in the resurging Cairns economy

Urbex's rare near-CBD land opportunity, Enclave, becomes a hot commodity in the resurging Cairns economy.

Enclave is now selling in Cairns. Conveniently located seven kilometres from the heart of Cairns CBD and only 15 minutes from schools, local shops and hospitals, it is a hot commodity for locals and international markets alike.

Enclave sales consultant Nicole Turner says the rare opportunity to purchase land this close to the CBD is highly sought after as the Cairns economy shows signs of entering the road to recovery.

“It has been amazing to see the positive interest in such a short space of time! We have already received signed contracts from multiple lots, with more pending,” Ms Turner said.

“There has been a mixture of strong interest from both local and international markets, including investors speculating on a re covering property market. One of the investors looking to purchase is already a local to Earlville, which speaks highly of the area’s envious location and reputation”.

According to Urbex Realty General Manager Craig Covacich, Urbex’s investment in Cairns is evidence of the confidence in the imminent cyclical recovery within Cairns’ residential property sector.

“We are seeing the economy steadily regaining composure on the back of growth in employment and increased tourism in the region,” Mr Covacich said.
“We have noted positive indicators such as a 6.3 per cent decrease in unemployment rates this year alone, improvements in housing building approvals and airport passenger numbers ticking up.

“We are thrilled to be a part of Cairns’ economic resurgence and to contribute to the local economy through delivering Enclave. It has been built by Cairns locals the whole way through – we are creating a community developed by the community.”

The local building industry has also welcomed the new development, with high-end builders expressing their interest in the vast majority of flat lots.
Local builder Mathew Ducie of Duce Constructions identified the drawcard lies within the opportunity of Enclave being the last available parcel of land so close to the CBD.
“It is the closest and biggest subdivision available to the city and still within a nice area,” Mr Ducie said.

“This will be its biggest advantage in getting buyers interested and I think it will be very popular.”
